Just a little obsessed with my camera...

Jeeze, for the past couple days have been pretty busy lately. I feel like I hadn't updated in forever, but it's only been two days. Anywho, my parents and I have been all over the place, with appointments and junk, so while we were roaming all the parts of our little Island, I had no music, but I have my new toy... The camera.

 We then came to help my uncle with some groceries, since he's recently got gout AND arthritus in his foot. I took some last minute pictures. We visited him again today, and the swelling has gone down quite a bit, so he's doing a lot better, despite him pouting about him having cravings for fried food.

 I'm practicing the focusing part, and went a little crazy with it, so if you see strange pictures of random things, thats why. But this when my camera decided to die, I think it had enough with my oddness, haha.

I charged my camera up again, and took a picture of one of my drawings. Theres more of what happened today, moving furnature around, and in and out is practically my whole day, that sitting on my duff is the best part of the day.

Anyway, I'm done my ramble for now, and I'll do the labels tomorrow.

Another test of my photography

Why is it that when you look at the preview of a camera, it looks good, and then when you upload it, it looks like a piece of crap? I'm no photography artist, unlike Krista and Krista. (<-- Those are two different Krista's.) They make it look so damn easy, but it takes practice, of course.

 

When I was little, this stone goose use to scare the *beep* out of me, because I always figured it would spring to life and chase me around in my grandmothers, and grandfathers back yard. I have a picture of me sitting beside it, when I was little, and the white paint was all there.I didn't look to impress with it, but it's amazing how I actually remember something like that. I have crap memory.

 

This would be Stubs. Most cutest cat ever. I waste too much of my time snuggling this little terd, and activating my allergies.

I was watching Family Guy when I drew this, but anyway, I don't have much to say, I'll be doing some studying for a little bit, then maybe draw sometime later.

Lady of The Lagoon

Whenever I think/see/read/hear the word lagoon, I always think of that movie, where these two kids, (little boy, and girl) get stranded on that Island. They grow up, learn ways of the jungle, make some behbehs, and then go off to catch up with a boat, or escape because of some cannabils that are inhabiting there. Its been A LONG time since I've seen it, I was probably 12 or something.

Anyway, I drew this girl out, watercoloured, scanned, picniked to alter the colours a bit, photoshoped, and picniked it again. I'm surprised I haven't used SAI for a while! I miss it.. <3

Lady Of Blue

My scanner killed this, but I coloured it with water colours that Dini gave to me.

I was going to draw her as if she was some sort of water being. (Not a mermaid.) I might redraw it out later though.

Snakeman

I don't like how this turned out, at all, but I think I have better drawings that I'll post up tomorrow.

I was on a drawing spree, and this was one of the drawings I was working on. I was going to have one of my other characters by him, but I didn't like how she was turning out, so I changed it, till the point I had to be carefull with the paper, to not make it break through. And this is what I came up with. There are a lot of anatomy mistakes here. I think what I had before I attacked it with an eraser was better, but oh well. Ignore the snake, I just needed an excuse to avoid drawing the rest of this guy. xP

There will be more tomorrow. : >

Cupcakes

No drawings for today, I've got one in progress, and may upload it later on, or tomorrow. My friend Chrissy, uploaded some videos on what happened on my birthday. I couldn't help but laugh at myself, since I remember my point of view better than anyone else, until I viewed these videos. (I think I can actually write out my POV on every video I saw, haha.)


As I said on my previous post, Dini made very tasty cupcakes that when we came to the bar, I stared at them long enough till they started to look like breasts.

My friends are the best. Seriously.

Dini got me a new sketchbook, along with new "Prang" pencils, and watercolours for my birthday, along with some cupcakes. I was also given a very pretty bracelet from Chrissy. (Maybe I'll draw it, or take a picture of it later?) Yesterday was awesome. By the end of the night, I lost my motorskills, but still had my senses. (Or at least I hope I did.) I appreciate my friends being there for me, since they took care of me really well by the end. Making sure I didn't faceplant on the ground, or break a heal, or whatever. Haha. xD

Theres a lot of stories I can tell, but some that I can vagually, or hardly remember. I was a very amusing drunk, and thats better than anything. Though, as predicted, I got that hangover my auntie said she'd give me, just a month ago.

I've been having troubles thinking all day today, my poor brain cells need some rest, and some may never be the same, haha.

It was a blast.

My B-day post!

I have been looking forward to this day, not because it's my birthday, but because I expected to have crap loads of drawings prepared. It didn't work out that way, because my usb died, and my blog was a tad bit funny. Though, my goal is to draw harder to improve in anatomy and that. I actually liked these, because I'm using textures for backgrounds instead of the funny ones I had normally.

This is also a celebration of my 100th post! I'll be sure to put my lame comics up eventually, and... blah blah blah.

I'm somewhat losing my trail of thought, since I feel like I have more to say.

NOW! I'm on my 99th post, and Hiatus.

Though, the only time you'll see me active for the time being, is to change my template. When I last posted, My page went all funky, so I thought it would go back to normal if I changed the template, and that, but no. It just felt like it was mocking me, until Dini helped me. I'll probably change it back to the old template I had. But not as of now.

I guess THIS is my actual 99th post. (Or Not)

Well, I'm kinda confused, since my dashboard suddenly told me I have 98 posts, when last I saw was 99. My archive says I have 97. These are some drawings I did from the beginning of July, along with the paper dolls I drew for some. I still have Dini's, and other randoms to scan, or take pictures of.

I apologize for the crappy quality of the paper dolls above, I was in poor lighting. xP

I would also colour them, but I don't really have good colours, besides colouring them on SAI. Oh well.

This'll hopefully be my 99th post, but if not, I'll be throwing some more drawings up. My usb is still being a little finiky, but other than that, lets hope I'll be able to post something super awesome for the 18th!
